Super blog post about my super fun weekend! :-)

We left QC around 6:30 am and we arrived at the resort around 11 or 11:30. We were assigned to stay in this cottage which is on the farthest right side of the resort. Isolated freaks holla!

We got to play ultimate frisbee and skim boarding and it was so fun! My groupmates are so freakin' awesome okay. I love them so much :') We swam on the beach aw yeah fun fun fun!

I made dinner! My groupmates and our camp councilor told me that it was great. Aw yeah.

It rained so our instructor decided not to let us use the tents. Most of the groups went to the bus to sleep because their cottages were wet already. But well, ours wasn't! Before the sun left, we got to put covers on every side of the cottage. We all slept on the floor!

We played cards after dinner. My friends drank alcohol but I didn't because I don't drink. :-) Oh my god our team leader got drunk and she was speaking nonsense until 3am hahahah it was so funny!

We woke up at 6am and we just played "Rewind" until our breakfast was ready.

After breakfast, we had team building activities and well...... our group won! First place holla! :-------)

And then after that, we swam in the beach again. When we got bored, we played sand fight! Ya kno, instead of snow fight, we used sand because we don't have snow!!! They all backed out lol in the end it was a duel between me and my guy friend named Khail. Lol he lost aw yeah! And I made a sand angel haha!

We also made a sand castle. And then we played "Ice-ice-water" omg we were so exhausted after that.

We got to wash up earlier than everybody else. Next, we made lunch! Then we packed our stuff and we broke apart our home aw.

The bus ride was fun too lol!

We all ate together during the stop over aw :')

It was a fun fun weekend! I love all my groupmates oh my god they are fab. Much love.

I baked cookies today!

I went to the mall right after class to eat and then buy a book. I was supposed to go home around 3pm but it was raining so I decided to stay inside and just go home when it stops raining.

I passed by the supermarket and I decided to go in and check if they have chocolate chips. And welp, they did, finally! So I bought a pouch of that and then I bought butter and sugar. I got home around 4pm.

The cookie batter looks really light because I did not use half brown and half white sugar. I used all white because I forgot to buy brown!

I had no idea that we ran out of baking paper already so I just spread butter on the pan so my cookies won't stick.

This is a picture of a cookie I made. Oh my god fail!!! It needs more flour, I think. I need to fix my recipe haha gotta change some measurements!

The cookies taste okay (but my other batches last summer are way better) so I guess it's fine hah :-)

I love this picture ok. Gab took this. I love KC's room aw I miss KC and Gab so much!

Novak Djokovic won his first Wimbledon title!

So last night, I tuned in to Star Sports for 3 hours to watch the Wimbledon finals between Nadal and Djokovic.

I've been watching tennis since '05, I think. I was a big fan of a lot of sports and I watched a lot of them, including basketball, golf, badminton, tennis, racing, swimming and even gymnastics. Ironically enough, I DO NOT PLAY ANY SPORT. :-) Haha.

Let's take this back 2005... (pun intended)

The first tennis match I've ever watched (that I can remember) was a match between Nadal and Bagdhatis. It's was on grass, I think. Not sure which tournament though. It was so freakin' awesome and I didn't want to change the channel until I find out who won.

I started researching and watching as much matches as I can because it's really an interesting sport. I've started to learn more about the sport and the athletes from way way back and those who are dominating the scene during that time.

The first tennis player I idolized was Rafael Nadal. He was young, strong and determined. He was just someone who looks like a champ. And he is. And then, Roger Federer. I admire Federer because he is one of the best (if not the best) players in the entire tennis history.

Then came this young guy who got into the quarterfinals of French Open in '06. He came out of nowhere. He reached the fourth round of the Wimbledon in the same year. Then he reached the semifinals of the French Open in '07. It totally caught my attention. Beside him being an eye-candy, he was a really really REALLY funny guy. His name is Novak Djokovic.

He then reached the finals of the US Open in '07.

THOSE MARIA SHARAPOVA IMPRESSIONS WERE THE REASON WHY THE US OPEN CROWD LOVED HIM.

He didn't win the US Open in that year, but a month after his first ever Grand Slam final, he won his very first Grand Slam title in the Australian Open stage.

The Nadal-Federer rivalry was gone. There was a new one, and it was called a TRIVALRY. Yes, that word is not in the dictionary haha. It was not just about Nadal and Federer anymore, it was about Nadal, Federer, and Djokovic.

He became the #3 player in the world for a few years. Then he became #2. And now, he is #1. NUMBER ONE. I'm not even related to Novak in any way but I was in tears when he earned that rank. And him winning Wimbledon confirmed that he is the best player in the world today.

I'm just so proud of him. It's so special because I was there when he started to grow and make a name for himself. I feel like a proud mom, haha. Even his brothers grew oh my god look at them! Marko used to be this fine young boy I was crushing on but now he's a grown man and he'd probably be just like Nole.

No words can express how happy I am for him. And I can't wait to see more from the world's best tennis player at the moment.
